Location
Situated in lovely, rolling countryside, with views over the valley to the Sierra de las Salinas beyond, this holiday home is only seven kilometers away from the enchanting, ancient city of Ronda.

A country road winds its way gently from the Village of Arriate which has lots of shops, traditional bars and restaurants. It is a very relaxed little market town. In the opposite direction, drive down the road through olive groves and pastures on its way to the historic village of Sentenil with it's infamous cave houses (semi troglodyte dwellings) , one of the traditional Pueblos Blancos (white villages). Here, two kilometers out of town, the villa sits just above the roadside. At just 7k stands the beautiful city of Ronda, famous for the oldest bull ring in Spain, and the incredible engineering feat of the New Bridge which spans the old and new towns of Ronda. Ronda is an important location where the tourists come in tours from 11am to 4pm to see the historic sights, while the locals proudly and discreetly do about their business.
Close by are the expansive Nation Parks of the Serranía de Ronda and Grazalema Mountains.

House and Garden
The amply lawned irrigated gardens, resplendent with mature pine, and a wide variety of mature fruit (30) and palm trees, surround the house on three sides and are quite delightful. The property's garden is fenced off so this is a great place for children to run around and have a bit of fun. Great for adults, too, as it's totally private. The Olive grove is also walled and secluded.

Behind the house, little steps lead up to an attractive pool terrace, gated off from the garden for additional safety. It's a decent sized pool (9 metres x 5 metres), complete with sun loungers and outdoor furniture. There are no better places to spend a sunny summer's afternoon!

At the front of the house, the shaded porch area is another attractive space to relax and revel in the simple joys of nature all around you. There is a second outdoor dining area in the back garden complete with a barbecue. The house obviously has mains electricity and town water (the third water source on the property).

Inside, the villa is clean, comfortable and adequately furnished. Furniture and Furnishings are not included in the price, but can be negotiated with the vendor if required. The kitchen space is however, a little limited and whilst it is possible to rustle up a simple meal or a snack or two, the lack of workspace would make the creation of a dinner party here a little more problematic. However as there is allot of social space already in the house, a new kitchen could be relocated if required as a full-time residence. It is normal for self-catering rentals to have small kitchens, as most visitors want to explore and enjoy the local restaurants.
The limited Kitchen area is more than compensated for by the lovely gardens and the welcoming swimming pool, and most of the year you find yourself outdoors regardless. The location is excellent too, tranquil and serene countryside all around, and close to the characteristic little towns of Arriate and Sentenil.

Accommodation Details All on one floor : open-plan kitchen / dining room with glass fronted wood burning stove, the stove is vented through the house providing ambient heat in winter. There are also electric radiators. There is an attractive archway through to living area. The large master double bedroom has an en-suite complete bathroom. There is an adjoining room with a single bed, suitable as a child's room, which can be made into bunk beds. The third double bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with shower.
